About Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres...
A Maggie’s Centre is a place to turn to for help with any of the problems, small or large, associated with cancer.
Under one roof visitors can access help with information, benefits advice, psychological support both individually and in groups, courses and stress reducing strategies. Visitors don’t have to make an appointment, or be referred, and everything Maggie’s offer is free of charge.
More than a million people are served by the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust and its cancer services, and there are 4,000 new diagnosis of cancers here a year. Oxford Castle Management Office is working towards a fundraising target of £3 million for the new Maggie's Centre, which will be built at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford. Your support is needed to help to make this happen and to have the centre open, free of charge, for anyone who needs it.
Oxford Castle staff have committed to walking over 20 miles to help raise awareness about this important local charity and hopefully help raise funds for this inspirational new centre. Visit Oxford Castle's Just Giving page to donate.
